Here is a storyboard for a fun animated project exploring a character named Monkeyface The Destroyer. I created Monkeyface after watching my cousin playing with his imaginary friend. This imaginary friend is not at all the well-behaved sort. Whenever anything gets broken in the house, or spilled, my cousin always insists it was his troublesome imaginary friend who did it. Naturally my cousin is a perfect little angle, if you believe his accounts.
Monkeyface was intended to be just that sort of character: a misbehaved imaginary friend for the world. I had a lot of fun exploring this short, which envisions how Monkeyface spends his average day.
